Thandie was born in the middle of the 80's in the sweetest town of Zambia “Mazabuka”. She’s the first born in the family of four. She was raised in Lusaka where she discovered her musical talent at a very tender age, when she started to sing in church.
On the current album “So Good“ she has worked with Zambia’s best producers: Chabota Milambo her young brother, who has co-produced Maureen Lilanda´s latest album at Sound Wave Studios and who also happens to be Zambia’s youngest producer and DJ, Sebastian Mutale of the old group New Age and best Bass player!, Tokito “Wanzambi” who has played with the famous congolese rumba group “Diamond Musica” and more other african artists.
Thandie is a member of the Zambia Association of Musicians and has worked and performed with different zambian artists like Spuky Mulemwa, Chris Aka, Maureen Lilanda, Mathew Tembo, Sheba, Louie-X, etc., etc. and different bands like No Parking, Zambezi Symphony, Impact, Frontline and Green Buffaloes and others, in both, recording and performing.
One of Thandie´s latest projects was recording an album with the first president of Zambia, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, an album dedicated to the youth and the fight against HIV/AIDS together with Karibu Band.
